I think John Travolta was in it. It started in NY and a fighting Doberman was injured and Travolta’s kid took care of it and nursed it back to health. The dog would come to her apt window. Then Travolta and the kid moved to Cali and at every stop the kid left a glove or something. It ended up that the dog followed her across the US. This was based on a true story I think.
