well i remember john travolta was in it but apperantly not , it was about this dancer or something anyways the guy dances and then he gets into this disco or night club and gets a job there as a waiter and he lives with his friend that is also a waiter in that disco or something along with his singer girlfriend im not sure if shes a singer i remember a scene where she got a record deal or something i cant really remember the movie but i think it was something like saturday night fever
i just saw saturday night fever he didnt work as a waiter there

I was watching Saturday Night Fever (for like the 100th time since it came out in ’77) and just now noticed that “Connie” – the girl who comes up to John Travolta and asks him if he’s as good in bed as he is on the dance floor – and I took a double take. She looked just like Fran Drescher, only she didn’t sound too much like her, you know…her trademark nasal whining voice. Was that her??

I’m trying to figure out a movie where someone commits suicide at the end?

It is from the 70s, and I think John Travolta is in it. The person that commits suicide is a good friend of his, and I think I remember a Bee Gees song from it. I could just be getting it confused with Saturday Night Fever though. The friend jumps off a bridge even though his friends are there telling him to be careful. Does anyone know this movie? Thanks!
I thought so.. but I read a synopsis of the movie and it didn’t mention it at all. I guess it wasn’t that important to the plot? thanks again

If you could have a theme tune, what would it be?

I mean like the way “Stayin’ Alive” plays as John Travolta walks down the street in the beginning of Saturday Night Fever. My personal theme tune would be the music from the X-Men cartoon, that was classic.
