Long question… please don’t click unless you will answer. Serious answers only.?

First of all, I’d like to ask readers to keep in mind that this is a serious, somewhat embarrassing question. I would appreciate serious answers. Second, I want to apologize for everyone for my question being so long. Long answers will not be ignored. To the contrary, they would be most welcome. Below, I’ve divided the words needed for my question into paragraphs to avoid people getting lost in reading it.

Okay… all in all, this is a question about my love life. I’ve only had one girlfriend, during my sophomore year at high school. I live in kind of a small town, so it was a bit of a miracle that she said yes when I asked her out. She dumped me after two months, and I haven’t had a single date since. We parted on as good terms as possible. She sees me as a friend, but she doesn’t know that I am still slightly angry at her for leaving me. However, I don’t have any desire to get back together with her. All I’ve ever truly wanted is a girl who would love me and allow me to love her back. I want to be the supportive, loving boyfriend that every girl wants. But, since my ex-, I have asked countless girls out, and been rejected by all of them. And this has made me cynical. It’s hard to keep believing that one day you will find a girl if every single one that you ask out doesn’t want to go out with you. It makes you think that either you are ugly to the bejesus line, or that you just aren’t someone that a girl wants to go out with. I don’t consider myself to be drop-dead John Travolta gorgeous, but I’ve been told that I’m pretty attractive. Knowing that, I can’t see why I can’t get *any* girls to go out with me. Sometimes, I think that my bad luck stems from some certain… sexual tension inside of me.

I don’t really want to include this in my question, but I think you deserve to know what I’m talking about, since you’ve taken the time to read my question. Sometimes, I go on the internet and I find images of girls and women that stimulate me. At the time, I just see these as some hot images, but the rest of the time, I just see them as a sign of weakness. I mean, should real men need to go on the internet and look at this stuff? I actually think sometimes that maybe my doing this is what’s causing my lack of a relationship, like karma or something. It’s also made me think that perhaps I don’t deserve a girlfriend if I do this kind of thing. It makes me think, “You should be ashamed of yourself. You’re a disgrace to every woman on Earth.” And most of the time, I think that my thoughts are right. I don’t think that doing that kind of thing is respectful to girls or women, and even if it was, I tend to doubt that any girl or woman would be willing to try any of the things that I see on the internet.

All of these things and more are my problem. I can’t get a date, and that really depresses me. My depression is actually getting to the point where I can’t even summon up the necessary enthusiasm to write a fanfiction story or play a video game.

My question to all you patient readers is, what can I do about my problem? Do any of you know what I’m doing wrong? Do you have any advice for me?
